How to Gild a Lily
Gild itself means to "coat with gold, gold leaf, or a gold-colored substance". Gild the lily describes the process of adorning or embellishing something that is already believed to be quintessential. This is my personal pictorial journey of attempting to gild the lily time and time again. Along the way spiritual guides, depicted as smaller silhouettes, assists the larger silhouette through emotional changes.
